Regulations La Sansi 18 Viladecans 07/12/25
1.La Sansi will organize on December 7, 2025, with the collaboration of the Viladecans City Council and the Catalan Athletics Federation, La Sansi de Viladecans in its 18th edition. Distance approved by the FCA.
Departure at 10:30 a.m. at the Parc de la Marina next to the Renfe station in Viladecans and the Vilamarina shopping center.
The race is part of the Championchip league and the FCA calendar.
2. All registrations for both federated athletes and popular participants without a license will go online at www.lasansiviladecans.com
3.The event is open to everyone and the fact of registering or participating in the race represents total acceptance and respect for these regulations. Its interpretation and everything that is not expressly regulated will be decided by the organization or the competition judges.
4. The distance to be covered on asphalt will be 5 kilometers, marked exactly every kilometer, with a time limit of 45 minutes (Until 11:15 am) and the times will be as follows.
10:30 am. 5 km popular race
11:15 am. 3 children's races from 400 to 800 meters (The races will be adapted depending on the number of registrants). Information will be provided a few days before the race.
11:30 am. Awards ceremony for the 5 km and the 3 children's races.
5. All participants in the 5 km race and children's races who choose the option will be given a technical t-shirt.
6. The race will be timed by Championchip (yellow chip) or rental white chip on the bib (No need to return).
Federated participants, or whoever the organization deems appropriate, will leave at the 1st start at 10:30 a.m. and will go to the first box with the red bib, as will popular participants who do not have a license but have a best time in the last two years of less than 16'20 for men and 18'45 for women.
7. It is mandatory to wear the bib clearly visible on the front. Tampering with this is grounds for disqualification. Athletes without a bib will not be able to leave or enter the finish line, organization personnel will be responsible for applying this regulation.
The organization will request an ID card or similar to verify the athlete's identity and age when collecting the bib.
In the event that the person who registers is finally unable to participate in the race, the organization will not make any refunds or changes.
8. The following services will be included in the registration price: Departure and arrival videos, more than 2,000 photographs, medical service, departure by crates according to the brand, volunteer meeting tent, liquid and solid refreshments at the end of the race, cloakroom, masseurs, activities for children, big draw, WC and more surprises.
9. Participation in the event is under the responsibility and own risk of the participants. At the time of registration, the participants declare that they are physically fit for the event. The organization declines all responsibility for any damage that the participants or the public may cause during the race, cause themselves or derive from them to third parties.
10. Participants explicitly allow their name, surname, gender and year of birth to be published in the list of registered participants, as well as in the results if they finish the race, following the established regulations.
11. Complaints must be made verbally to the Referee, up to 30 minutes after knowing the results. Once all the evidence presented has been considered, the Referee will make a decision, which will be communicated to the interested party. If this is not favorable, the person may file a complaint with the Appeals Jury. Complaints to the Appeals Jury will be made in writing and must be accompanied by a €50 deposit, which will be returned if the complaint is accepted. The decisions of the Appeals Jury will be final. Although the latter may reconsider its decisions if new conclusive evidence is presented.
12.All participants give their consent for La Sansi, by themselves or through third parties, to use the images of the event for their promotion, as well as the computer processing of their personal data for exclusively sporting, promotional or commercial purposes. In accordance with the provisions of Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December on the protection of personal data, the participant may exercise their right to these files with the aim of rectifying or cancelling part or all of their content. To exercise this right, they must request in writing to viladecans@lasansi.com
13.The organization reserves the right to change the date or time or cancel the race, without there being any right to claim compensation from the registered participants.
Similarly, the organization reserves the right to extend the registration period for the race, for any of the participating groups, if it deems it appropriate.

15. Failure to collect the bib, T-shirt or gift bag on the established days means that the participant renounces taking part in the race and no refund will be made. It is mandatory to participate with the bib.
16.For groups or clubs with a minimum of 10 participants the registration price will be cheaper by sending an email to: viladecans@lasansi.com
17.The classifications can be consulted the same morning of the race online at www.lasansi.com / www.lasansiviladecans.com
Limited places for the race of 1.200 participants. The last day to register will be 02/12/25 if there are still registrations.
18.PRIZES:
Prizes for the first 5 overall and first 5 absolute.
Prizes will be awarded to the first 3 classified in all categories.
Trophy for the first and first local.
Trophy for the youngest and least young person of the morning.
Prize for the first three male and female of the children's races with a medal for everyone.
Failure to collect the prize will be considered lost.
19.Before the start (30 minutes before) and after the prize giving ceremony, prizes will be raffled. The rules of the draw will be as follows:
- Elite athletes, organizing committee and family members will not be part of the draw
- The bib number will be the reference for participation in the draw. The prize must be claimed physically with the bib within a period not exceeding two minutes maximum. If the winner does not emerge, the draw will be repeated.
20.Bib delivery:
They can be collected on Saturday or Sunday up to 1 hour before the race.
(The collection point will be informed a few days before on the website and by email to each registrant).
Failure to collect the bib and bag of the participant on the established days means renouncing them (See the bib collection section).
A cloakroom service is available to participants, located next to the start. The organization is not responsible for objects that participants may deposit. It is essential to carry them with a bag.
It is mandatory to participate with the bib placed on the front in a visible way.
Spanish athletes with a federative scholarship, nor foreign athletes who have achieved (during this season or the previous two) a mark with a value equal to or greater than 950 points on the current IAAF table, will not be able to participate in the race,
24.Return Policy. You must make sure before processing the purchase because it is not possible to return the purchased registrations. A mistake in the purchase or non-attendance, among others, will not justify the refund of the amount or the modification of the registration already purchased. Registrations may only be canceled due to possible cancellation of the event.
