Regulations La Sansi 18 Viladecans 07/12/25
1.La Sansi with the collaboration of the Viladecans City Council and esportcat will organize on December 7, 2025, La Sansi de Viladecans 5 km in its 18th edition. Distance approved by the FCA. The race is part of the Championchip league.
2. Departure at 10:30 a.m. at the Parc de la Marina next to the Renfe de Viladecans station and the Vilamarina shopping center. The route is duly signposted and marked every 500 meters. Participants are required to know the route so as not to get lost and the race information, and be aware of possible last-minute changes.
10:30 a.m. 5 km popular race The closing of the race will occur at 11:14 a.m.; therefore, athletes will have at least 44 minutes to finish the race.
11:15 a.m. 3 Children's races from 400 to 800 meters (The races will be adapted depending on the number of registrants). Information will be provided a few days before the race.
11:30 a.m. Awards ceremony for the 5 km and the 3 children's races.
3. The organization guarantees the equality of women and men as one of the basic principles of action. Generic mentions in masculine in the articles of these regulations will also be understood as referring to their corresponding feminine, except in cases where it is specifically stated that this is not the case.
4. The refreshment point will be located after the finish line. We ask for your collaboration in order to be able to carry out a good selective collection of waste and, in this way, reduce the environmental impact of the event.
5. It is mandatory to use a chip; Incorrect use of the chip and not wearing it on the shoe will result in not appearing in the official classification of the race, with no right to claim. Participants who do not own a chip (yellow chip) must purchase a single-use chip for 2 euros (see conditions in the “Registration” section), which will be on the bib. There is no need to return.
6. In the event of not participating, the amount paid will not be refunded if it is for reasons not attributable to the organization. Registration will close when 1,000 registrants are reached. Similarly, the organization reserves the right to extend the number of registrants or the registration period for the race for any of the participating groups. 7. The organization may modify the schedule and route for reasons beyond its control or force majeure, without the right to claim.
8. The start is designed in sections with different colors depending on the best time accredited in 5 or 10 kilometers in the chip races of the last two years. Each section will be identified with a color. Only participants who have the bib or bracelet of the distinctive color of each section can access it. In the event that they do not have an accredited bib in any official race, when handing over bibs, they can accredit the bib in any homologated or official race in the last 24 months. Downhill races or similar will not be valid, and they will be given a bracelet to leave the corresponding section. Anyone who does not accredit a bib will leave the last section.
9. The only vehicles that can follow the race are those accredited and expressly authorized by the organization.
10. The bib and chip must be collected on the days and times established by the organization. More information on the website.
11. Failure to collect the race number, t-shirt and gift bag on the established days means that the participant renounces taking part in the race and no refund of money or material will be made. The organization reserves the right to request the original ID or passport if it considers that the photocopy submitted was fraudulent. If a participant presents a falsified document, they will be disqualified and the registration fee will not be refunded. The race number, together with the chip, must be collected on the days and times established by the organization.
12. It is mandatory to run the race with the race number placed on the front of the chest in a visible manner; it will not be valid on the back or legs. Organization staff will prevent the departure or arrival of people without a race number.
13. Registration is personal and non-transferable and implies acceptance of these regulations. Under no circumstances, once registration has been made, can participation be transferred to third parties due to not being able to attend the day of the race. Runners who participate with another bib and/or chip will have their registration cancelled, and it will be decided whether they will be allowed to participate in the next edition.
14. A cloakroom service is available to participants according to their bib number. The organization is not responsible for any objects that participants may leave there. They must be carried in a bag.
15. Participation in the race is at the responsibility and risk of the participants. The organization disclaims all responsibility for any damage that participants may cause during the race, to themselves or to third parties.

16. People with visual impairments must be properly identified, as well as the person who guides them. If you want to have your mark recorded, you will be assigned the same as that of the runner you accompany.
17. The classification by category will take into account the real time. Trophies will be awarded to the first five and first absolute finishers who reach the finish line; they will be collected at 11:30 a.m. at the end of the race, as well as to the first 3 and first 3 in each category and the 3 children's races. You must go to the podium area once the race is over to find out the first, second and third positions. Failure to collect the prize will be considered lost. The categories are exclusive; that is, the same person cannot be awarded in two categories.
18. Participants explicitly allow their name, surname, gender and year of birth to be published in the list of registered participants, as well as in the results list if they finish the race, following the established regulations.
19. Only clubs or associations that request it via email to viladecans@lasansi.com may set up tents or similar in the start/finish area. The local police may impose sanctions in the event of failure to obtain authorization.
20. All participants consent to the organization, by itself or through third parties, using images of the event for its promotion, as well as the processing of personal data for exclusively sporting, promotional or commercial purposes. In accordance with the provisions of Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13, on the Protection of Personal Data, participants may exercise their right to these files in order to rectify or cancel their partial or total information in the content. 21. Complaints must be made to the organization up to 30 minutes after the participant has crossed the finish line, attaching €60. In the event of a favorable resolution to the complaint, the deposit will be returned; otherwise, it will be allocated to the race's charity. The organization's decision will be final.
22. The size of the t-shirt requested when completing the registration cannot be changed. If your size is not available when registering, the one you choose will be the one delivered. Participants may participate in the T-shirt they deem appropriate, as long as it does not have symbols or emblems that imply incitement to violence.
23. The organization will have an adequate medical service. The participant authorizes the health services or members of the organization to provide any care in case of need, whether or not they are in a condition to request it. If the organization or the health services see any participant in a state that does not allow them to continue, they may make them abandon the event.

25. If the race were included in the FCA calendar, the organization will not register Spanish athletes with a federative scholarship or foreign athletes who have achieved, during the last two years, a mark with a value equal to or greater than 950 points on the current WA table, in races that appear in the "World athletics" ranking. Nor will it be responsible for their participation or claim, in the event that they are disqualified by the Federation. The Race is a charity event and participants can make a donation to a charity at the time of registration.
26. Refund policy. You must make sure before making the purchase, because it is not possible to return the purchased registration. A mistake in the purchase or non-attendance, among others, will not justify the return of the amount or the modification of the registration already purchased. Registrations can only be canceled in the event of possible cancellation of the event.

29. After the award ceremony, prizes will be raffled. The rules of the draw will be as follows:
- Elite athletes, organizing committee and family members will not be part of the draw. The bib number will be the reference for participation in the draw. The prize must be claimed physically with the bib within a period not exceeding two minutes maximum. If the winner does not emerge, the draw will be repeated.
30. Registering implies acceptance of these regulations. The organization will decide any unforeseen incident. The organization will decide whether athletes who fail to comply with these regulations will be disqualified.
31. Anything not provided for in the previous articles will be decided by the organization of the event.
