Today the 6th ALS race was held in Sant Adrià del Besós, organized by the City Council and La Sansi, with the collaboration of the Barcelona Provincial Council. One of the objectives is to publicize the disease and raise funds for those affected by ALS.

1,005 registrants have finally met in Sant Adrià to participate in the different tests in the morning, including the 5 km race, the walk, and for the 2nd edition the novelty of the children's races, all distances have set records for registered in this 6th edition. In the run-up, the mayoress, Filo Cañete, together with councilors, gave a speech on the importance of disseminating and fighting against this terrible disease.

In the 5 km the winner was the athlete Marc Bartolí with 16'04 who enters the list of winners with illustrious winners such as Janis Viskers from Latvia, the Ethiopian Safidi, or the Moroccan Radoune Nour.

In women, the winner of the 5 km has been Montse Carazo with 18'53 who succeeds the Valencian Roser Mañosa, the Italian Giulia Rigodanza, the English Katherine Chaplin, Sonia Gallego and Inna Lebedeva (Ukraine) winners of the previous editions.

Presence, also affected by ALS, including Jordi Sabaté.

Part of the final proceeds will go to Fundació Miquel Valls and RedELA.
