Jordi Cienfuentes and Mariona Avila won this morning the legendary 12km of the historic uphill and downhill to Guanta, held in Sentmenat in its 39th edition, organized by La Sansi and the Sentmenat City Council, with 650 registered, 25% more than the previous edition.
The records of the event are held by the Latvian Edgars Sumskis (La Sansi) with 40'33 (2018) and the Moroccan Hasna Bahom 46'48 (2013).
In the 5th edition of the 6 km distance with a record number of registered participants, the winner was Bru Roset and in women Laia Estrada.
A race with 39 editions of history where two children's races have also been organized that have opened a cold but sporty morning.
The awards were presented by Mayor Montse Rueda, and councilors Àlex Vallmitjana and Jordi Gilgado.
Tribute was paid to Concordio Pérez, who turned 70 and participated in 39 editions of the race, and to Salvador Alcaraz, who also participated in all editions.
