El Masnou, November 21, 2020.- Saturday, December 26, the Masnou City Council and La Sansi will organize the 41ª Sant Silvestre del Masnou, the oldest San Silvestre in Catalonia, within the calendar of the Catalan Athletics Federation and of the league Championchip.

 

In September, La Sansi led the technical direction of the Cursa de la Mercè in Barcelona, ​​one of the sports competitions with the most participants since March, with 3.000 inscriptions, and also organized the Lloretrail.

 

Jose Luis Blanco, organizer, explains “La Sant Silvestre del Masnou will meet the same requirements as the Cursa de la Mercè and the Lloretrail, with all the safety and hygiene required and recommended by the health authorities. El Masnou commitment is to continue promoting the sport and, in this sense, both the organizers work to offer the maximum guarantees of safety ".

 

The departure and arrival will be located at different points in the Port del Masnou. There will be 3 races of 5km spaced in 45 minutes, with staggered departures from 09:15h meeting the safety distance required at the time of the event, and will count the time of each participant since passing through the timing mats ( championchip) from start to finish, with a limit of 1.000 inscriptions.
