La Sansi and the Masnou City Council organized today the historic 46th Sant Silvestre del Masnou, with more than 2,500 bibs sold out, setting a record for registrations in the 46 editions.

The Sant Silvestre del Masnou is the oldest in Catalonia with 46 consecutive editions, since it was also organized during the pandemic in 2020.

On a very fast circuit, with only two turns, in a morning spent on water but enjoying one of the most important sporting events in Spain during the Christmas season.

The Latvian Dmitrijs Serjogins, from the La Sansi Club, was again the winner for the fifth consecutive edition, with a time of 14:37, followed by Marc Guardia with 14:53 and Iker Prados with 14:54.

In the women's category, the champion was Argentina Oria de Rueda, with a time of 16:35, followed by Olympic athlete Laura Heredia, with 17:02, and third, Mercè Sánchez, with 17:21.

The starting signal was given by Mayor Jaume Oliveras and the Councilor for Sports, Sílvia Folch, who were also in charge of giving the prizes to the winners together with Carmen Bastida, Director of the Catalan Sports Council.
