Lloret de Mar, September 25, 2020.- On Sunday September 27, La Sansi, with the collaboration of the Lloret de Mar City Council, will organize the Lloret Trail, a 5 and 12 km mountain race authorized by the Catalan Federation of Athletics and the General Secretariat of Sport and Physical Activity.

Last weekend, La Sansi led the technical direction of the Cursa de la Mercè in Barcelona, ​​one of the sports competitions with the most participants since March, with 3,000 registered.

The Lloretrail will feature the participation of leading figures in athletics; In the 12km distance, the Catalan cross champion, the Moroccan Douae Ouboukir, the English Khaterine Chaplin and Carmen Rodriguez de La Sansi are confirmed. In the men's category, the favorites, among others, will be the Olympian Ángel Mullera, the Moroccan Mohamed El Ghaozuany, Carlos Galobardes, José Luis Cruz and the Colombian Yeison Montoya. At 5km, among others, Buba Sabaly from Senegal, the athlete of the Spanish RCD José Diaz, and you give us the Colombian Jackeline Gomez and Rebeca Suárez.

We will have other participants such as Master María Luisa Muñoz (Catalan Marathon record), Xavier Bonastre from TV3 or Pitufollow.

Sheila Avilés, who is concentrating abroad, and Carles Castillejo, who is recovering from an injury, are out.

The departures will be staggered: the 12km with the favorites at 07:30 and the 5km from 09:30, complying with the required safety distance at the time of the event, and will count the time of each participant since they pass through the timing mats from start to finish.
