A new international guide, approved by the European Union, has been developed by Club La Sansi and three other organizers from Poland, Portugal, and Serbia to offer more sustainable, innovative, and health-promoting sporting events that promote social inclusion.
The four organizations, which met in Portugal, Poland, and Serbia, presented the final guide.
The aid granted by the European Union has served to create a guide that serves as an example for other international organizers.
La Sansi was one of the European organizations that worked hardest to organize events during the pandemic, organizing mass races without crowds. The races it manages attract nearly 50,000 participants per year, including the Cursa de la Mercè in Barcelona and the Cursa dels Nassos, with 13,000 race numbers each sold out.
This guide is a brief guide developed based on the experience of the Gdansk Sports Center (Poland), Sport for All Association (Serbia), World Bike Tour (Portugal), and La Sansi (Spain), hosts of sport for all events. They share their experiences in hosting sporting events, aiming to improve and be more efficient and effective in organizing an event.
