Lloret de Mar, September 27, 2020.- La Sansi with the collaboration of the Lloret de Mar City Council, today organized the Lloret Trail, a 5 and 12 km mountain race authorized by the Catalan Athletics Federation and the General Secretariat of the Sport and Physical Activity.

The race had to be postponed twice because of the pandemic: on March 22 and then on July 26. Finally, it was held today, despite the strong wind hours before the race.

In the men's category the 12km has won the Moroccan Mohamed El Ghazouany with 59'15 "ahead of the Lloretean athlete Ángel Mullera 1'00'18"; The 5km winner was Buba Sabaly from Senegal with 19'18 ".

In the female category 12km victory for the Moroccan Catalan champion Douae Ouboukir. 5km winner Jackelin Gomez from Colombia 23'57 ”.

500 registered have enjoyed a great day of trail. The awards were presented by Ana García Castaño, Lloret's councilor for sports, and Joan Villuendas, President of the FCA.

The exits have been staggered, complying with the required safety distance at the time of the event.

Last weekend, La Sansi already led the technical management of the Cursa de la Mercè in Barcelona, ​​one of the sports competitions with the most participants since March, with 3,000 registered.
